Trustees & Management
We continue, as a respected, well established charity in the local community, to offer essential help and support to vulnerable families. We work with each family according to their needs, giving advice, practical help and emotional support. Parents tell us that EPC’s interventions are successful. They enjoy a better quality of life and have increased confidence to be more pro-active in their children’s lives.
Our mission
EPC aims to enhance the life chances of children, young people and their families.
Our values
EPC is an approachable, flexible, resourceful, supportive, holistic organisation with high professional standards and its aim is to empower service users. We work with families, staff and all our partners in public services and other voluntary and community organisations for the benefit of local families. EPC adheres to the principles of equal opportunities and diversity.
Strategic Objectives
The object of the charity is the advancement of education of children resident or educated primarily in the London Borough of Enfield regardless of culture, belief or language, and who, because of difficulties learning in the school or home environment, require special assistance to help them complete their education.
We accomplish this through:
- ensuring optimal educational opportunities for disadvantaged children
- ensuring parents have the knowledge to build resilient and happy families
- strengthening parenting abilities
- championing the voice of local children and parents to influence public policy
Key activities – what we offer
We pride ourselves that we can offer a range of services to support a family, and individuals within that family. We want to, and do, make a difference to family life. In the 15 years since we became a registered charity we have grown a range of services to meet client need, whilst maintaining our core Enfield Parent Partnership Service.
Our frontline services operate from The Ark in Edmonton, but we also work in the local community, in children’s centres, schools, local community halls and in people’s homes.
