Counselling
Enfield Parents & Children have a low cost counselling service
Counselling is:
Counselling provides a private place, separate from your daily life, where you can explore issues or feelings which are causing you difficulty. It is a way of addressing problems by talking them through.
A Counsellor will:
- listen carefully to what you have to say
- enable you to express your feelings
- help you to explore and understand your difficulties
- not offer you advice but help you try and find ways of managing your difficulties more effectively
If you are interested you will be invited to a free introductory meeting where you can find out how we work. Initially we will offer you 6 sessions lasting 50 minutes after which support will be reviewed. The counselling takes place at The Ark, 500 Montagu Road, London N9 0UR.
